...and was not impressed.
We left Jordanville station (after a 15 minute walk) at 8:20am and started our adventure.
I arrived at Parliment Station at 8:55:am (5 Minutes late) and had lost 12hp!
Seeing as I bought a 5xdaily ticket, the trip in only cost me $4.75, but if i didn't use the train on the way home it would cost $9.50 - thats $47.50 for week - not cheaper than driving, but cheaper than parking. I'll see how it goes, but with the rising price of fuel, the train may be becoming a viable option...

Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery...
I could totally do a 'Well, today I drove my new car to work' post, but I can't be bothered. In my case, it is strangely working out far cheaper to take the car. I would be paying £43 per week on public transport (which at today's currency exchange rate is about $86). Fuel per week to get to work is less than £20. Sure I need to add in the cost of services and road tax and insurance and all the rest of it, but it's still silly to spend 1 hour 20 minutes going 6.5 miles, rather than the 10-15 minutes I take in the car.
